日周期 是指游戏中从6:00AM至12:00AM(午夜)的一个长达18小时的时间周期(相当于真实时间的13.5分钟;游戏中一小时是45秒)。午夜后,玩家将变得很疲惫并且需要睡觉。不过,玩家能够工作到2:00AM,之后玩家将会昏倒。

如果玩家昏倒了,将会被镇上的医生哈维莱纳斯、一个Joja超市员工或Joja超市医生拖回床上,并从床上苏醒。玩家会损失一定的金钱(可以在玩家的信箱里查看详细信息)。玩家昏倒在屋子里的时候除外。

在6:00PM以后,就有几率调到夜行种了。然而直到8:00PM才会天黑。
