放大镜可以让玩家在耕地、砍树、采矿、钓鱼和杀怪物时找到秘密纸条。

玩家会在完成"冬日谜团" Quest后获得放大镜。在上午6點到下午4點冬季期間通過農場進入公共汽車站觸發過場動畫後，此任務被添加到日誌中。過場動畫描繪了一個被玩家嚇到的“暗影之家”，然後逃跑了。

完成任務需要玩家與社區中心左側操場旁邊的灌木互動，觸發另一個過場動畫，其中暗影傢伙給玩家放大鏡。

獲得後，可以在“技能”選項卡上播放器菜單的錢包中找到它。
