宝箱是星露谷里的一种可制造的存储道具。它可以存储多达36种不同类型的物品。最多可以将999个相同的物品放到一个格子里。物品不会在箱子里不会腐坏。

宝箱可以放在星露谷的许多不同地方。然而，如果把箱子放到一个村民的毕竟之路上，箱子以及里面的所有东西就会消失。不知道这是一个bug还是一个故意的设计元素(比如,某种形式的“盗窃”)。

可以用任何工具拿起一个空的箱子，并将其放进背包。放有任何物品的箱子都不能拾起。

染色

打开时箱子时，在物品窗口上方有一个色彩条，可让玩家选择不同颜色的箱子。颜色可以随时更改，无需付费。颜色选择器中有20种可供选择的颜色。

Chests outside the farm

It is possible to place chests (or other craftable items such as furnaces or bee houses) around town in many locations. This is useful to allow the player to store items for gifts close to the home of a villager that loves particular items or to allow additional storage when Fishing or foraging. If a villager walks through the square where a chest (or similar item) was left, the item will be destroyed. Below are player-created maps to indicate which tiles on the map are safe from villager-pathing.
