寶箱是星露谷里的一種可製造的存儲道具。它可以存儲多達36種不同類型的物品。最多可以將999個相同的物品放到一個格子裡。物品不會在箱子裡不會腐壞。

寶箱可以放在星露谷的許多不同地方。然而，如果把箱子放到一個村民的畢竟之路上，箱子以及裡面的所有東西就會消失。不知道這是一個bug還是一個故意的設計元素(比如,某種形式的「盜竊」)。

可以用任何工具拿起一個空的箱子，並將其放進背包。放有任何物品的箱子都不能拾起。

染色

打開時箱子時，在物品窗口上方有一個色彩條，可讓玩家選擇不同顏色的箱子。顏色可以隨時更改，無需付費。顏色選擇器中有20種可供選擇的顏色。

Chests outside the farm

It is possible to place chests (or other craftable items such as furnaces or bee houses) around town in many locations. This is useful to allow the player to store items for gifts close to the home of a villager that loves particular items or to allow additional storage when Fishing or foraging. If a villager walks through the square where a chest (or similar item) was left, the item will be destroyed. Below are player-created maps to indicate which tiles on the map are safe from villager-pathing.
