铁匠铺出售煤炭和各种矿石（铜、铁和金），还可以帮你砸开晶球和升级工具。另外这里还是铁匠克林特的家。

出售商品

礦石和煤炭的價格在第二年後會增加。玩家會在第二年春季第一天收到信件通知：罗宾商店和克林特商店的原材料价格已经上涨。（透過发货箱或者直接賣給克林特所獲得的金錢不會增加）

售卖

就像可以在皮埃尔的杂货店直接售卖作物，你也可以把宝石、矿物、矿石和锭直接卖给克林特。需要注意的是，任何种类的晶球都无法直接卖给克林特（尽管可以把里面的矿石卖给他）。

升级工具

剧透提醒   以下内容可能涉及到星露谷物语 1.6 版本的更新。如果想避免剧透，请谨慎阅读。

克林特可以对四种主要工具和物品栏菜单中的垃圾桶（工具）进行逐步升级。也就是说，工具升级必须按顺序升级，比如：铜制工具不能直接升级成铱制工具。升级需要等待2天时间。在克林特升级工具期间，仍然可以使用铁匠商店以及砸开晶石。工具升级完成后，玩家每天醒来时，屏幕左下角会有一条消息提示（如果当天铁匠铺不营业，则等到铁匠铺营业时才会出现此消息提醒）。如果玩家当天未领取已升级的工具，则第二天会继续提示。

请注意，即使铁匠铺的店面在节日期间不营业(夏季的月光水母起舞和秋季的万灵节除外)，克林特仍在升级工具。如果玩家在节日前一天将工具放在铁匠铺升级，那么工具将在节日后一天正常升级完成。然而，如果玩家选择的时间是节日前两天，铁匠铺由于在节日期间不营业，玩家将无法如期拿到工具，必须多等一天。

斧头的每次升级都会减少砍伐树木所需的次数，升级到铜斧头或更高等级后可以砍伐大树桩，升级到钢斧头或更高等级后可以砍伐大圆木。十字镐的每次升级都会减少敲碎石块与采矿点所需的次数，升级到钢十字镐或更高等级后可以敲碎圆石，升级到金十字镐或更高等级后可以敲碎陨石。喷壶和锄头升级后，允许玩家通过长按蓄力的方式，一次性灌溉或挖掘多个土壤方格。垃圾桶升级后，丢弃物品时会返还一部分物品价值，最高可达60%。

打开晶球

克林特可以帮你打开晶球，每个晶球收费data-sort-value="25">25金。这能让你获得里面的宝石和矿石，也能得到石头，粘土和煤炭等普通资源。

如果晶球内物品的售价小于等于data-sort-value="75">75金，晶球时被砸开时会听到“叮当”的声音。否则，会听到一阵短促的旋律，物品也会闪闪发光。

古物宝藏可以用5个万象晶球向沙漠商人购买。克林特会像砸开晶球一样砸开古物宝藏，但里面的不是矿物, 而是古物或宝藏。

Tips

• To avoid missing a day of watering, water crops, then upgrade the Watering Can when the weather report indicates rain the next day. Crops will be watered the day the can is taken to the Blacksmith, the following day by the rain, and the Watering Can can be picked up the day after that. It can also be a good idea to upgrade the watering can near the end of a season if there is nothing in the ground that will bear fruit until then.
• Regarding coal prices, during year 1, it's cheaper to buy wood from the Carpenter's Shop and use a Charcoal Kiln to make coal than it is to buy coal from the Blacksmith's. Conversely, starting in year 2, the price of wood increases from data-sort-value="10">10金 to data-sort-value="50">50金, so it is cheaper to purchase coal.
• At Mining Skill 7, it is cheaper to purchase Iron Ore, smelt Iron Bars, and use the Transmute (Au) recipe to create Gold Bars than it is to purchase Gold Ore and smelt it into Gold Bars.
• Although the door to the Blacksmith locks at 4pm, as long as the player is inside the building they can still interact with the counter after 4pm to make purchases, upgrade tools etc., even after Clint walks away from the counter at 5pm.
