謎之盒是齊先生投下的箱子。在星露谷生活五十天或從公告板獲得第二張兌獎券[1]後，玩家將看到齊先生用飛機丟下謎之盒的過場動畫，並將通過彈出窗口得知謎之盒現在可以被找到。

和晶球一樣，玩家可以在鐵匠鋪花費data-sort-value="25">Gold.png25金打開謎之盒。（值得注意的是，謎之盒不能使用晶球破開器打開。）謎之盒可以通過挖掘遠古斑點、釣魚寶箱、採礦、殺死怪物、破壞礦井中的木箱和木桶、搖晃或砍伐樹木獲得，或作為鱒魚大賽和魷魚節的獎勵獲得，也可以在沙漠節中從卡利科三花蛋商人處購得。謎之盒還有一個罕見的金色變體，打開它可能獲得與普通謎之盒不同且更高價值的物品。

閱讀謎之書可以將找到謎之盒的概率提高大約26.7%。[2]

謎之盒可以開出謎之盒，平均期望為每打開10個謎之盒，可以獲得1個謎之盒。
