鱒魚大賽在每年的夏季20日到21日之間舉行。節日在上午6:10開始。在煤礦森林的瑪妮的牧場旁的河邊舉行。在節日期間，玩家們可以在河裡釣到虹鱒魚。當玩家抓到一條虹鱒魚時，有很小的機會獲得一個金標籤，可以在附近的攤位上兌換獎品。

與其他節日不同的是，星露谷的商店和家庭在活動期間不會關門，節日期間的時間也會繼續流逝。
