镰刀可以用于清理农场，清除杂草和小树苗，并且收割草之后可将其转化为干草并储存到筒仓里。收获某些作物的时候也必须要用镰刀收割，如苋菜、甘蓝菜、小麦。镰刀在游戏刚开始自动持有。

镰刀也能当作武器使用，可造成的伤害非常小，但好处在于不会消耗能量。
