Gunther is a villager who operates the 博物馆 in 鹈鹕镇.

He doesn't accept friendship gifts, and instead accepts donations to the 博物馆. He'll reward players as they reach milestones in number of donations.

Schedule

Gunther doesn't leave the museum while it's opened 8:00AM to 6:00PM, he's inside during opening hours at the counter.

Quests/Events

The first time you enter the 博物馆 after finding an artifact or mineral, you will see a cutscene where Gunther explains that someone stole the Museum's collection. He asks you to consider donating any artifacts or minerals you find to the Museum. This triggers the "Archaeology" quest.

The morning after you donate 60 items to the Museum, Gunther will visit you to thank you and give you the Rusty Key.

I almost forgot! I have a gift for you... It's an old key that's been sealed in the museum vault for at least 100 years. It's a little rusty, but still beautiful.”
