鳟鱼大赛在每年的夏季20日到21日之间举行。节日在上午6:10开始。在煤矿森林的玛妮的牧场旁的河边举行。在节日期间，玩家们可以在河里钓到虹鳟鱼。当玩家抓到一条虹鳟鱼时，有很小的机会获得一个金标签，可以在附近的摊位上兑换奖品。

与其他节日不同的是，星露谷的商店和家庭在活动期间不会关门，节日期间的时间也会继续流逝。
