水面的气泡

钓鱼是在星露谷物语中一种使用钓鱼竿或蟹笼捕捉鱼的技能。

钓鱼竿是甩入水中来钓鱼。把鱼钩甩在水中冒泡的地方，钓上鱼的速度会更快。按住鼠标左键（会出现一个进度条），施放抛出。施放时进度条的多少决定了钓鱼竿能被抛多远。通过按方向键或WASD来稍微改变钓鱼的位置。这可以帮助改变不合适的水面冒泡的位置。当鱼咬钩的时候，单击鼠标左键触发迷你游戏。

钓鱼的迷你游戏的目标是让小鱼保持在长方形钓鱼条的覆盖区域内，直到右边的进度条上升到顶端为止。长按或连续点击鼠标来使矩形钓鱼条增长。钓鱼技能等级和好的钓鱼竿能增强长方形钓鱼条。较高的钓鱼技能等级和好的钓鱼竿也能使鱼的不规则运动减少。

立即点击提高可以将鱼保持在钓鱼条的上端，但会有一个轻微的延迟时下降。如果鱼的图标高于或低于钓鱼条，进度条会减少，减到没有时鱼便会逃走。当玩家一直把鱼控制在钓鱼条区域内，钓上以后会有“完美”的字样。

有时一个水池会冒泡，抛到那个冒泡点会增加你的点击量。当它开始冒泡时，你将知道你该抛到正确的池塘点。

Xbox控制器

当使用Xbox控制器时，首先需要准备好钓竿。点击并长按键，放线时松开即可。鱼钩入水后，马上再次按住键。一旦接到鱼咬钩的警告 （玩家头顶会出现一个！并伴随着提示音），然后松开键进入迷你游戏。点击/长按/松开或快点键来进行钓鱼。

钓鱼技能会影响到钓到的鱼或垃圾或者收获蟹笼的产品

每升一级钓鱼竿的熟练度+1，增大最小的鱼的大小（英寸/厘米）和浮标的高度，减少鱼咬钩前的等待时间。钓鱼技能也会增强钓的鱼的品质（银星或金星）。

宝箱

在钓鱼迷你游戏时，一个宝箱偶尔会出现在竖条上。宝箱有自己的进展条，保持绿色的进度条在宝箱的图标的后面。如果获得了宝箱，玩家将在钓到鱼后随机获得一件战利品。失去鱼的话也会失去宝箱。

The base chance of finding a chest is 15%. The probability can be increased with the Magnet (+15%), the Treasure Hunter (+5%) and the Pirate profession (+15%) for a total of 50% chance. It is further increased by daily Luck + (Luck / 2.0)% and a hidden Luck level + (LuckLevel × 0.005)%.
