文字標牌是一種可打造物品，玩家可以在上面寫入一段文本。當玩家靠近文字標牌或將鼠標懸停在其上時，文字標牌會出現一個對話氣泡來展示存有的文本，這段文本可以通過與文字標牌互動以重新修改。

文字標牌可寫入的字數上限是60個字符。

巴士站修復之後，如果潘姆當天休息，她會在公交車旁留下一個文字標牌，通知玩家需要自己開巴士去沙漠。文字標牌會在第二天自動移除，玩家也可以將其提前佔為己有。
