山姆是居住在鹈鹕镇的村民。他是可结婚的12个角色之一。 他住在镇子南部，紧挨河的北边。(1柳巷)

山姆经常在他的家里练习吉他和玩电子游戏，有时在星之果实餐吧‏‎与他的朋友塞巴斯蒂安和阿比盖尔在一起，并且他在Joja超市兼职。

山姆和他的母亲乔迪弟弟文森特住在一起。他的母亲溺爱他们，并声称从来没有让他们做过任何杂务。他与文森特很亲密，当父亲不在时感觉到了他的责任。在第二年的春季,山姆的父亲肯特回家并和他的家人住在一起。婚后,山姆每周都会去找他的家人并看望文森特，如果你和他在那里对话，他会告诉你他其实是一顿免费午餐才来的。

每周玩家最多可以给山姆送两件礼物（每天最多一份，生日当天可以额外多送一份）。礼物会影响他对玩家的好感度。
如果他在生日当天（ 夏季 17日）收到礼物，好感度的变动是平常的8倍，并且根据山姆的喜好触发以下任意一条对话。

婚后生活

Sam's room.

Once married, Sam will move into the farmhouse with you. Like other marriage candidates, he will gain a small room at the right side of the farmhouse when married. He also builds a half pipe in the backyard to continue practicing skateboarding tricks.

Sam is a very caring and affectionate husband (and father if you choose to have children), but also retains some of his more laid-back personality. He no longer works his part-time job after marriage, preferring to help with the farm and household, but will still visit his family on Mondays and both family and friends on Fridays. He seems especially concerned about how Vincent will get along without him at the house. He still makes mention of playing guitar, but will also indicate that he is no longer as interested in pursuing music as he was before.
